Job Description:

Join Kellanova, where safety and innovation meet. As an Environmental Health and Safety Advisor at our Wrexham Plant, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering a safe and thriving work environment. Reporting to the Plant EHS Practitioner, you'll collaborate with EHS team members, employees, managers, and leadership across the plant and liaise with external third parties as needed.

Your mission will be to support the EHS Practitioner in developing and implementing EHS strategies and programs that align with our business and plant goals, including managing comprehensive EHS compliance systems at the plant level.

A Taste of What Youll Be Doing

  • Drive Compliance: Execute essential EHS programs to ensure the site meets legislative requirements and Kellanova standards.
  • Maintain Databases: Ensure regulatory compliance databases are accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate Inspections: Plan, coordinate, and execute inspections and examinations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Resolve Issues: Take ownership of defects identified during inspections and coordinate remedial actions with key stakeholders.
  • Investigate Incidents: Lead the closure of EHS incident investigations, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and tracking corrective actions.
  • Promote Safety Culture: Lead by example, working collaboratively with plant teams to build EHS capabilities and promote safe behaviours.

Were Looking for Someone With

  • NEBOSH National General Certificate
  • Understanding of domestic EHS legislative requirements and best practices
  • Ability to align EHS initiatives with business goals
  • Experience in manufacturing plants, understanding unique challenges
  • Experience with management systems and document control
