The role

Ferrovial Construction is seeking Environmental Graduates to assist on various major UK infrastructure projects. The 3-year graduate development programme is designed to develop personal, professional, and technical skills through a blended approach. You will work under the supervision of Environmental Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to Ferrovial Construction UK’s sustainability strategy and health and safety objectives, ensuring environmental standards are upheld on projects.

Key Accountabilities:

• Assist in writing and reviewing environmental documentation, including Environmental Management Plans and Inspection and Test Plans.
• Support the development of briefing and communication strategies to ensure understanding and implementation of environmental plans by all employees and subcontractors.
• Monitor compliance of construction works on site and relevant documentation in accordance with Works Information, Ferrovial standards, and technical standards.
• Assist in preparing environmental and sustainability reports for senior management.
• Support investigations and audits conducted by the Project Environmental Manager.
• Advise on environmental requirements and best practices, promoting continuous improvement and innovation across the site team.
• Promote customer requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Adopt and promote Ferrovial Construction UK’s vision and values.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and adhere to safety regulations on-site.
• Support compliance with environmental and sustainability policies and procedures.

Skills and Competence:

We are looking for graduates with:

• Degree or Master’s in any discipline.
