The role

Ferrovial Construction seeks Environmental Graduates to assist with major UK infrastructure projects. Our 3-year graduate development programme aims to develop personal, professional, and technical skills through a blended approach. You will work under the supervision of Environmental Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to Ferrovial Construction UK's sustainability strategy and health and safety compliance, ensuring environmental standards are maintained on our projects.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist in writing and reviewing environmental documentation, including Environmental Management Plans and Inspection and Test Plans.
  • Support the development of briefing and communication strategies to ensure environmental plans are understood and implemented by all employees and subcontractors.
  • Monitor compliance of on-site construction works and relevant documentation in accordance with Works Information, Ferrovial standards, and technical standards.
  • Assist in preparing environmental and sustainability reports for senior management.
  • Support Environmental Managers with investigations and audits.
  • Advise on environmental requirements and promote continuous improvement and innovation across the site team.
  • Promote customer requirements throughout the business.
  • Adopt and promote Ferrovial Construction UK's vision and values.
  • Take ownership of assigned work.
  • Adhere to safe working practices on-site and ensure staff compliance.
  • Support Ferrovial Construction's Environmental and Sustainability policies and procedures.
