ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER - CONTRACT - SURREY

Our client, a global leader in engineering and construction for energy and infrastructure projects both offshore and onshore, is seeking an Environmental Engineer to join their team based in Surrey, with some visits to Teesside.

Experience & Skills

• Education: BEng or BSc in environmental or a related field
• Experience: 10 years in offshore and onshore projects
• Certification: ISO 14001 Lead Auditor

Job Scope

As an Environmental Engineer, you will be part of the Health, Safety, and Environmental department. You will implement HSE environmental management systems in an operational context, following company HSE guidelines and standards. You will be involved in our NEP project (Northern Endurance Partnership and Net Zero Target Project).

Responsibilities

1. Develop construction environmental management plans for onshore and offshore activities
2. Manage subcontractor compliance with environmental requirements
3. Supervise the activities of the Environmental Coordinator
4. Interface and collaborate with other project teams and stakeholders
