Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Manchester is seeking an Environmental Engineer to join a leading ground investigation and remediation team. Travel across the UK will be required.

You will deliver technical reports, manage remediation schemes, carry out Phase 1 and 2 investigations, and monitor environmental aspects, with training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in remediation or geo-environmental industry.
• Environmental/engineering related degree or working towards.
• Willing to travel and stay away from home frequently.
• Understanding of health and safety practices.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Right to work in the UK and ability to commute to Manchester.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and management of remediation schemes.
• Develop technical reports.
• Deliver Environmental Permits and Validation reports.
• Carry out Phase 1 and Phase 2 site investigations.
• Undertake environmental monitoring and sampling.

This is a great opportunity for an Environmental Engineer based near Manchester and willing to travel frequently for work to join an industry leading team of ground investigation, remediation, and contaminated land contractors on a variety of new and exciting projects around the UK.
