Job Description

We are working with a consultancy seeking a Geo-environmental Engineer. The position is based in Leeds and involves assisting in the delivery of site investigation projects, supervising remedial works, and managing earthworks across the UK.

Responsibilities include preparing desk studies, factual and interpretative ground investigation reports, hazardous ground gas and groundwater monitoring and sampling, and managing site works, including logging and sampling of soil and rock.

Key Responsibilities:

• A relevant science or engineering degree (e.g., geology, environmental science, civil engineering).
• A Master's degree with a geoenvironmental or geotechnical focus is desirable but not essential.
• At least two years of relevant post-graduate experience, from an engineering consultancy or ground investigation contractor.
• Good organizational skills and effective time management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to generate reports.
• Confidence when dealing with subcontractors.
• Ability to deliver projects and work within a multidisciplinary team.
