Environmental Engineer - 12 Month Contract - Outside IR35 - Based in Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey

Our client has a requirement for an Environmental Engineer to work on a contract basis in Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid: 3 days in the office, 2 days at home

Contract Length: 12 months ongoing

IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Rate: Negotiable depending on experience

Purpose of the Position:

As an Environmental Engineer, you will be part of the Health, Safety, and Environmental department. Your role involves implementing HSE environmental management systems in an operational setting, following the company's HSE guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop construction environmental management plans for onshore and offshore activities
2. Manage subcontractor compliance with environmental requirements
3. Supervise the activities of the Environmental Coordinator
4. Interface and collaborate with the company and external stakeholders
5. Coordinate with environmental agencies, local authorities, internal departments, and external stakeholders
6. Perform environmental activities such as completing ENVID, Environmental Plans, reports, data analysis, and investigations
7. Conduct onsite activities including audits, training, inspections, and produce reports and data

Qualifications and Experience:

Education: BEng or BSc in Environmental or a related field

Experience: Minimum of 10 years in offshore and related environments
