  • At least 1 year of professional or academic experience working with environmental datasets
  • Proficiency in R for data analysis and visualization
  • Knowledge of GIS platforms (preferably QGIS or ArcGIS)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and a logical approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently on projects
Desirable Skills
  • Experience in a consultancy or commercial environment
  • Familiarity with UK freshwater monitoring datasets and policies (e.g., WFD)
  • Experience with version control (e.g., GitHub) or SQL databases
  • Membership in a relevant professional body

We are a remote-first organization, offering flexibility in where and how you work, supported by a collaborative and friendly team. At APEM, we value curiosity, quality, and a shared commitment to better environmental outcomes.
