Environmental Co-ordinator
required for ongoing contract role, working on behalf of our client, a leading oil & gas/renewable energy contractor. This role will be based on the site of a new carbon capture & sortage project in North Wales. Candidates must have at least
5 years experience working on offshore/onshore oil & gas sector projects.
As Environmental Coordinator you will be part of the Health, Safety and Environmental department. You will implement HSE environment management systems in an operational context following the Company HSE guidelines and standards.
Responsibilities:
Implement construction environmental management plan for onshore and offshore activities
Review and monitor subcontractor compliance to environmental requirements
Management of site environmental issues
Coordinate and communicate with environmental agency, local authorities, internal companys departments and relevant external stakeholders
Perform project environmental activities such as completing ENVID, Environmental Plans, Environmental Reporting including data analysis and Environmental Investigations
Complete onsite activities such as audits, training, regular inspections and produce reports and data
Qualifications/experience required:
BEng or BSc in environmental engineering or similar
5-8 years in offshore and onshore projects
ISO 140001 Lead Auditor
