Environmental Consultant (EIA) - Cardiff

My client, a market-leading UK-based Environmental Consultancy, is searching for an Environmental Consultant to join their team of engineers and consultants based in Cardiff.

Applicants are required to have a BSc or MSc in a related discipline such as Geography, Environmental Science, or Environmental Management, and have experience working for a UK-based consultancy completing or co-ordinating ES Statements and/or Environmental Impact Assessments.

Candidates should have a keen interest in Environmental Impact Assessments and the coordination of projects and reports.

As an Environmental Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work on hydrological, river, coastal, hydrogeological, energy, infrastructure, housing, retail, and electrical schemes for local authorities, water companies, private sector clients, and housing developers.

The responsibilities include:

1. Co-ordinating Environmental Impact Assessments and completing Environmental Statements.
2. Preparing hydrology chapters for EIA reports.
3. Managing EIA projects, including tracking project development with support from senior team members.
4. Conducting water resources and hydrology assessments.
5. Participating in client meetings to discuss project developments.
