Job summary

A prominent consultancy in the financial sector is looking for an ESG Integration Lead to deliver an ESG Integration plan and develop key policies. The role requires expertise in ESG processes, especially within UK Banking, and involves assessing existing frameworks and stakeholder management. This opportunity is for a 6-month contract based in Coventry or Manchester with some onsite work involved.

Qualifications

• Experience in ESG processes within the UK Banking sector is necessary.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and voluntary frameworks relevant to Financial Services.
• Ability to develop and update key ESG Policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the ESG Integration plan in collaboration with the Change and ESG teams.
• Review the adequacy of existing ESG processes.
• Conduct gap assessments against external frameworks and methodologies.

Skills

Broad knowledge of ESG within UK Banking and Financial Services

Knowledge of key ESG Regulatory and voluntary frameworks

Knowledge of Carbon Accounting methodologies

Experience in delivery of consultancy services

Experience in delivery of integration activity

Job Title: ESG Integration Lead

Location: Coventry / Manchester (1- day week onsite)

Duration: 6 Months

Description:

• Delivery of ESG Integration plan, working in conjunction with Change and ESG teams
• Supporting reviewing the adequacy of existing ESG processes
• Development of new ESG processes aligned to market best practice
• Development/ update of key ESG Policies and procedures
• Gap-assessments versus key external frameworks and rating methodologies- including ESG Rating agencies, trade associations, regulatory requirements, sustainable disclosures methodologies
• Peer benchmarking v UK Banking peers
• Stakeholder relationship management

Skills:

• Broad knowledge of ESG within UK Banking and Financial Services
• Knowledge of key ESG Regulatory and voluntary frameworks as relevant to the UK Financial Services sector, with a preference towards those with Banking experience
• Knowledge of Carbon Accounting methodologies and data
• Experience in delivery of consultancy (internal or external) Sustainability services
• Experience in delivery of integration activity
