About the role

The successful candidate will help embed sustainability, ensure effective environmental management, and assure compliance across various programmes, including Defence, Industrial, Nuclear, Energy, Decommissioning, and Next Generation Technologies.

You will lead on the technical and commercial aspects of projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget, or support clients with Major Permissions (EIA, DCO) and Environmental Permitting.

About You

We are seeking candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Development of Environmental Management Systems with ISO 14001 and/or within a Nuclear Site Licensed Company
• MOD POEMS or DefStan 00-051
• Compliance Statements and Arguments
• CIRAM
• BREEAM
• Carbon analytics, Decarbonisation Strategy & Roadmapping
• Eco-design / Design for the Environment (DfE)
• Development of Sustainability Plans
• Environmental Permitting for the Energy sector
• Environmental Safety Cases (nuclear or conventional)
• Development of Management Arrangements
• Optimization & Best Available Techniques
• RSR Environmental Principles
• Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009
• The 2008 Planning Act & DCO
• Planning application process for new nuclear projects
