Job summary

Adecco is seeking an Environmental Compliance Technician for a Coventry/Field Based role. The position involves delivering high‑quality environmental hygiene cleaning contracts and working across ventilation, water tank coating and refurbishment, and kitchen extract fire safety cleaning.

A full UK driving licence and own vehicle are required, with flexible hours including some evenings, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the timely completion of Environmental Hygiene Cleaning Contracts to high standards and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct essential cleaning tasks, including General Ventilation Cleaning, Water Tank Cleaning, Coating & Refurbishment, Kitchen Extract Fire Safety Cleaning.
• Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations on-site and at the depot.
• Represent the organisation professionally on-site and assist in training new operatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the timely completion of Environmental Hygiene Cleaning Contracts to high standards and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct essential cleaning tasks, including:
  • General Ventilation Cleaning
  • Water Tank Cleaning, Coating & Refurbishment
  • Kitchen Extract Fire Safety Cleaning
• Uphold a 100% attendance record and minimise aborted calls.
• Maintain a safe working environment, aiming for zero RIDDOR incidents and vehicle accidents when driving.

Job Specific Functions

• Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations, ensuring compliance on‑site and at the depot.
• Deliver work according to established standards and specifications, utilising training and skills effectively.
• Represent the organisation professionally while on‑site and assist in training new operatives under the guidance of the Compliance Supervisor.
• Ensure that all specialised equipment is maintained and report any issues for prompt resolution.
• Follow the Company Code of Conduct consistently in all duties.

Training and Development

• On‑the‑job training, including internal and external courses.
• Health and Safety Training as needed.
• BESA Grease Hygiene Technician Training.

Familiarise with and comply with the Company's Environmental Policy.

Health & Safety Responsibilities
