Seetec is hiring an Environmental Officer to lead the delivery of environmental compliance, sustainability, ESG and carbon reduction objectives. The role sits in the Health, Safety and Environment team, with hybrid working and one day per week in Hockley, Essex, plus nationwide travel to Seetec locations.

You will drive improvements, monitor performance, and translate complex environmental requirements into practical actions, collaborating with stakeholders to embed a strong sustainability

Formación

• Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation and its practical application within a large or multi-site organisation.
• Experience with sustainability frameworks, reporting and compliance activities.
• Experience maintaining or supporting Environmental Management Systems, ideally ISO 14001.

Responsabilidades

• Lead environmental compliance activities, ensuring adherence to legislation, regulations, permit requirements and accreditation standards.
• Maintain and improve the Environmental Management System (EMS), including ISO 14001 governance.
• Manage environmental performance reporting including energy, carbon, water, waste and biodiversity metrics.
• Lead carbon footprint measurement, reduction planning and progress monitoring across Scope 1, 2 and 3.
• Collaborate with procurement and operations to assess supplier environmental performance.
