The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and experience in environmental compliance. AECOM has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Compliance & Permitting Consultant to join our UK & Ireland EHS Team within the Environment and Energy business at a consultant grade. You will support the growth of our Environmental Permitting business across all industry sectors, providing environmental compliance and permitting support through global framework agreements and site-specific commissions. You will work with clients from established process industries, manufacturing, and power generation companies to manage compliance requirements for current and future activities. AECOM also aims to shape good compliance practices for the transition to a low-carbon economy.
This role is suited for a consultant with some post-qualification experience in environmental compliance and permitting, some health and safety knowledge, and familiarity with ISO 14001 standards. The position offers flexibility in base location, with options in Birmingham, Chesterfield, Leeds, Manchester, or Nottingham, supporting hybrid working arrangements.
