Job Details

This role is responsible for the overall support, development and maintenance of effective, Environmental and Social programs, including managing compliance, ESG reporting and directing the development, deployment and continuous improvement of these programs across Trident Energy's operations. A key part of the role will be implementing our reporting requirements and enabling clear guidance to subsidiaries in best practice.

Key Requirements
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in science, engineering or environmental management disciplines.
• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the oil and gas industry with relevant professional membership of HSE management institutes.
• Experience with carbon accounting
• Familiarity with recognised reporting standards

Key Responsibilities
• Support the development of HSE culture across Trident.
• Be responsible for coordinating and assuring corporate ESG data for the Trident Energy annual and monthly reporting and assist with the delivery of external data submissions.
• Coordinate with the technical/operations teams and subsidiaries HSE teams to implement environmental and climate-related initiatives and risk assessments.
• Lead on identification of and execution of emissions reduction strategies
• Prepare and provide subject matter expertise to subsidiaries HSE teams regarding the environmental studies, procedures, policies and plans in line with local legal requirements, IOGP standards, best practise in Industry.
• Support with oil spill response planning and developing emergency preparedness programs.
• Undertake environmental audit and assurance activities against standard and contracts.
• Provide support to in country Social Performance teams and assist with the development of key procedures.
• Work with the HSE and communications teams to continue to develop the sustainability reporting requirements.
• Support corporate HSE team as required.
