Environmental Advisor
to join their team. If you’re passionate about driving environmental performance in a fast-paced construction environment, this is your chance to shape and maintain best-in-class sustainability practices across major projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Champion Environmental Compliance
– Support and maintain Environmental Management Systems (EMS) aligned with ISO 14001, ensuring projects consistently meet compliance and drive continuous improvement.
Lead Site Inspections & Audits
– Conduct thorough site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify environmental risks and opportunities for meaningful improvements.
Support Monitoring & Prevention
– Assist in setting up and managing environmental monitoring tools and pollution prevention measures to minimise environmental impact.
Inspire & Educate
– Work with HSEA and Sustainability teams to deliver training and awareness initiatives that empower project teams to embed environmental best practices.
Collaborate for Compliance & Progress
– Liaise effectively with project teams, regulatory bodies, and clients to promote clear communication and forward-thinking environmental solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Development or related discipline (IEMA membership desirable)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in an environmental advisory/management role, ideally in construction
Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and current UK environmental legislation
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence multi-disciplinary teams
Proficient in MS Word and Excel (ArcGIS experience a plus)
