Role Overview

In this role, you will support advice and guidance on compliance and best practices in environmental management. You will lead site audits and support compliance at the site level.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the customer's internal audit programme remains compliant and on track.
  2. Support action management processes.
  3. Assist with external certification audits as requested.
  4. Participate in incident investigations.
  5. Support the wider team and customer in maintaining the ISO14001 EMS, including document reviews and engaging with key decision-makers to improve processes.
  6. Assist in identifying and implementing continual improvement opportunities.
  7. Support meeting and network groups, managing actions as needed.
  8. Engage in wider ISS Sustainability Team programmes relevant to the customer, such as environmental awareness campaigns, innovation trackers, and ideas incubator.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
  1. Experience with ISO14001, preferably in roles working with high-profile clients.
  2. Security clearance - ability to pass BPSS.
  3. ISO14001 Lead Auditor certification is desirable.
  4. Membership in professional bodies such as Graduate IEMA or other environmental organizations is preferred.
  5. Degree in Environmental Discipline and relevant professional qualifications.
  6. Experience in data solutioning.
