Job description

A great new opportunity to join a Water sector specialist as they start commence work on several frameworks across South Wales and the South West. My client, a Civil Engineering contractor with a company turnover of over £90 million, requires an Environmental Advisor to manage the environmental risk throughout project life cycles. You will be required to travel to site across the South West and Wales region.

As Environmental Advisor

you will:

Ensure our clients environmental procedures and policies are implemented and adhered to

Be responsible for monitoring our clients environmental performance, ensuring site inspections are carried out and all actions are completed and closed out.

Provide technical support in identifying carbon reduction opportunities.

Identify environmental risk and promote best practise solutions.

Our client requires an Environmental Advisor with:

Valid CSCS card

Prior experience in an Environmental Advisor role for a Civil Engineer/Construction company

Excellent communication skills.

HND/HNC/Degree in E

nvironmental Management, Geoscience or related discipline

Full UK driving licence - flexibility to travel across the South West and Wales region

Salary and benefits include:

£35,000 - £43,000 per annum
