Location: Hybrid from Southampton, London or Glasgow

ERM, the world's largest pure play sustainability consultancy, is hiring for an Acoustics Consulting Associate (Graduate/Entry level). We may consider a higher career level if you have relevant experience.

You will support the delivery of high-quality noise and vibration services to internal and external clients. We are committed to supporting your professional development and helping you grow your career at ERM.

Your skills will contribute to helping our clients transition to a Low Carbon Economy by providing noise and vibration assessments for projects such as onshore and offshore wind, solar, battery storage, and grid connection, both in the UK and internationally.

You will also have opportunities to work on schemes involving industrial, infrastructure, noise modelling, and long-term noise and vibration monitoring. You will collaborate with our experienced team to undertake noise surveys, analyze data, and prepare reports.

About You

You should be degree qualified in Acoustics or a related discipline, with a good understanding of acoustic principles and the ability to produce clear, concise reports. Membership of the Institute of Acoustics or working towards it is preferred. A full UK driving licence is essential due to site visits, and some overnight stays may be required.
