A leading organization is seeking an Environmental/Sustainability Officer to drive green projects within the Victoria area. The role involves planning and executing initiatives aimed at enhancing sustainability, building partnerships, and securing funding. Candidates should possess relevant experience, a strong degree in a related field, and demonstrate project management skills.
Salary pa: up to £30,000 depending on experience
We are looking for an exceptional individual to help drive forward the green agenda for the Victoria BID.
The BID is championing a sustainable green agenda for the SW1 area and is looking to become the leader in the development of sustainable business environments through retrofitting of green and blue GI and managing the carbon footprint of businesses. We are working closely with public and private sector partners to achieve a positive change in the attitudes towards the environment as a whole but also drive the changes to the physical landscape in and around Victoria. The increase in green and blue infrastructure will not only benefit the environment but also the workers, residents and visitors that come into Victoria on a daily basis and it is this which drives us.
We know that the next few years will be a challenge for all business. Therefore we need to be forward thinking and seize the opportunity to take more innovative steps and approaches to ensuring Victoria takes every opportunity to raise its profile. Victoria is a gateway to London and we must we develop an area that creates a positive “first” impression.

As an environmental/Sustainability officer, it would be your aim to manage and develop a range of projects that develop the green agenda within SW1.
