Job Description
Sustainability is key to Heathrow's success and our mission of Making Every Journey Better. Our strategy, Heathrow 2.0, prioritizes sustainable growth and addresses critical environmental issues. The Environment Manager will support the Carbon Strategy team in developing and managing carbon reduction and air quality initiatives, emphasizing technical expertise and stakeholder engagement.

Your role will involve

• Providing technical support on carbon, nature, waste, and water to various teams and stakeholders.
• Conducting analysis and research to develop Heathrow’s environmental strategies.
• Contributing to development plans and capital projects to reduce environmental impacts.
• Monitoring and reporting environmental data for internal and external purposes.
• Building collaborative relationships across departments including engineering, retail, finance, and procurement.
• Working with the Head of Carbon Strategy on delivering Heathrow’s Net Zero Plan.

Essential Skills

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across business functions.
• Experience in environmental management and sustainability, especially natural resources and carbon management.
• Knowledge of environmental impacts related to airport operations.
• Attention to detail, passion for transformation, and project management experience.
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and presentation for decision-making.

Working Location
