Health & Safety Manager

Location: outside Romford with travel to Essex, Hertfordshire & London

Position: Permanent, Full Time

Sector: Utilities

Working Hours: Mon-Fri

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the implementation of SHEQ policies and procedures.
  • Provide proactive advice, guidance, and leadership on H&S matters.
  • Conduct accident investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Host SHEQ Forum meetings and collaborate with clients.
  • Review and enhance current H&S policies and procedures.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualifications: NEBOSH Gen/Con Certificate or NVQ L3 OHAS (NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ L5/6 ).
  • Experience: Practical experience in health and safety, particularly in construction or utilities sectors.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of H&S legislation, excellent communication and organisational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
