A well-established pharmaceutical manufacturing company near Norwich is seeking a proactive and experienced HSE Manager to join their leadership team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to shape and drive the health, safety, and environmental strategy within a high-performing, regulated environment.

As the HSE Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of policies and systems to ensure compliance, promote a strong safety culture, and support the company’s continued growth. You will play a key role in coaching and guiding senior leaders, ensuring HSE is embedded in everyday operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the HSE strategy and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with UK legislation, including CoSHH and DSEAR regulations.
  • Lead site audits, risk assessments, and investigations.
  • Drive environmental compliance and health surveillance programmes.
  • Deliver HSE training, campaigns, and awareness initiatives.
  • Support senior leadership in creating a culture of prevention and accountability.

What We’re Looking For:

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in an HSE leadership role within a manufacturing/process environment.
  • Strong understanding of UK legal and regulatory HSE frameworks.
  • Confident communicator with excellent influencing and coaching skills.
  • Ability to lead change and embed safety-first behaviours.
