Are you a strategic HSE leader ready to make a real impact in a high-risk, high-performance manufacturing environment?
We’re proud to be working with a global industrial manufacturer based in Hereford, currently seeking an experienced HSE Manager to drive forward their Health, Safety & Environmental strategy.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you’ll be the site’s key HSE authority—leading cultural change, ensuring compliance, and embedding continuous improvement across operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead the development and implementation of site HSE programs
Provide strategic and hands-on guidance to operational leadership
Maintain ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 management systems
Lead audits, investigations, and risk assessments
Drive employee engagement and safety ownership across all levels
Deliver impactful HSE training and monthly performance reports
Act as the main point of contact for regulators and ensure timely submissions
What We’re Looking For
NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent postgraduate qualification)
Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH)
5+ years’ experience in an HSE management role in high-risk manufacturing or heavy industry
Deep knowledge of UK EHS law, ISO standards & process safety
Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills
Ability to operate from the shop floor to senior leadership with credibility
