Alexander Steele is working with a leading food manufacturing business in Leicestershire. Our client is looking to appoint an experienced HSE Manager to join the fast-paced operations team. The role holder will ensure the site remains compliant with all aspects of the company H&S policy and associated procedures.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
Deliver strategies to ensure the achievement of the H&S objectives.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to health and safety, including incident reports, training records, and safety data sheets.
Provide professional leadership, support, and development to team members.
To drive continuous improvement in departmental costs.
Background Experience:
5+ years’ experience within a dynamic and broad manufacturing environment.
NEBOSH Certification essential/Diploma would be desirable.
Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
A strong track record of leading and motivating teams in previous positions.
Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
