Job summary

CPR is seeking an Infrastructure Environment Manager to assure contractors comply with environmental standards across a major UK infrastructure programme. You will guide design teams on environmental constraints and solutions, and identify issues early to resolve them before they impact the project.

You will review assurance evidence through stage gates, assess consistency with environmental regulations, and communicate gaps clearly to close them out.

Qualifications

• Experience managing environmental compliance on a major infrastructure programme.
• Familiarity with UK environmental law and CDM regulations.
• Ability to communicate technical environmental principles across disciplines.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of cost and schedule pressures.
• Membership of a relevant professional institution, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure contractors are delivering to environmental standards across the programme.
• Guide design teams on environmental constraints and solutions.
• Identify issues early and work with parties to close them out.
• Review assurance evidence through technical stage gates.
• Support internal/external reporting on environmental matters.
