This is a rare opportunity to work alongside industry veterans and receive hands-on training in proprietary, cutting-edge environment workflows. While prior professional experience is not required, applicants must present a strong portfolio that demonstrates proficiency with industry-standard software, solid understanding of best practices, and a clear grasp of game asset pipelines. We are seeking junior artists who stand out as truly top of their class.

If you're someone who thrives on crafting authentic, grounded spaces and pushing technical and artistic boundaries, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and polish high-fidelity 3D environments grounded in realism
  • Develop shaders, materials, and textures
  • Create assets that utilise both baked and tiling workflows
  • Bake, modify and integrate photogrammetry assets and scanned data to enhance environmental detail
  • Collaborate closely with level designers to define spatial storytelling
  • Contribute to the lookdev process, helping to maintain visual consistency across varied biomes and architectural styles
  • Optimize assets for performance without sacrificing visual quality

Must-Have Skills

  • Proven experience and understanding of Zbrush
  • Strong portfolio with a realistic visual style
  • Working knowledge of Unreal Engine, including asset integration and material/shader systems
  • Good understanding of architecture, biome construction, and environmental composition
  • Proficient in texturing, material creation, and shader development
  • Comfortable using both baked and tiling workflows
  • Excellent eye for scale, proportion, and detail
  • Strong understanding of environmental storytelling and atmosphere

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience working with photogrammetry and scan data pipelines
  • Experience with lighting in Unreal Engine
  • Hands-on photogrammetry capture and processing
  • Background or strong interest in horror aesthetics and genre
  • Previously shipped titles on PC or console
  • Experience with world-building tools (e.g., World Machine, Gaea)
  • Familiarity with procedural tools (e.g., Houdini, Substance Designer)

Why Join Us?

  • We’ve proudly maintained a 100% staff retention rate since founding the studio in 2019.
  • Work on visually ambitious, narrative-driven projects with a unique identity
  • Fully remote team with flexible hours
  • Opportunity to have real impact on the look and feel of the worlds we build

Note on Working Hours:

Working hours must meaningfully overlap with regular UK business hours (BST), to ensure effective communication and collaboration with the team.
