Job description

Creative Assembly is looking for an Environment Art Director to join our talented team to work on our new project, a sequel to Alien:Isolation . As an Environment Art Director on the team, you will be responsible for leading a team of artists to shape the vision of our game world and deliver high-quality immersive environments. u00A0

On a day-to-day basis, you will: u00A0 u00A0

  • Work closely with Art Director to define and execute environment direction for the project. u00A0 u00A0
  • Lead a team of environment and lighting artists providing feedback, guidance and mentorship u00A0 u00A0
  • Work closely with design and other disciplines to ensure environments provide the best player experience u00A0 u00A0
  • Coordinate environment resources, schedules and priorities based on project needs. u00A0 u00A0
  • Ensure the team maintains high-quality artistic results and delivers them on schedule u00A0 u00A0
  • Work with rendering engineers and technical artists to develop pipelines and documentation u00A0 u00A0
  • Communicate well, with all disciplines, and be well organised. u00A0 u00A0 u00A0 u00A0

  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in video game industry u00A0 u00A0
  • A thorough understanding of modern environment art pipelines with working knowledge of modern 3D software u00A0 u00A0
  • Keen artistic eye with attention to detail, combined with an understanding of colour theory, composition, and main principles of visual storytelling u00A0 u00A0
  • Strong awareness of industry technology trends u00A0 u00A0
  • Excellent interpersonal skills u00A0 u00A0
  • UE5 experience u00A0 u00A0
  • Proficiency in Blender u00A0 u00A0
