Environment Advisor

North Wales

Salary: 30,000 - 45,000 + Car allowance + Benefits + Live away subsistence

Looking for a role where you can grow your environmental career with industry-leading support and development?

If yes, then the Environment Advisor role we are recruiting for might be suitable for you. The organisation has a turnover of just over 1 billion and a strong track record of delivering major construction and infrastructure projects. With continued rapid growth, this role will focus on a high-profile development based in North Wales.

Responsibilities for the Environment Advisor include:

  1. Ensuring the delivery of the environmental policy and compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations across infrastructure projects.
  2. Conducting site inspections and audits, preliminary environmental assessments, and delivering training as needed.
  3. Acting as the primary contact for the environmental sustainability programme, engaging with clients, contractors, and regulators.
  4. Supporting carbon measurement and identifying opportunities for carbon reduction.

The successful Environment Advisor will have:

  1. Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within construction, infrastructure, or the wider built environment.
  2. A degree in an environmental or related subject (preferred).
  3. Experience with environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001), waste management plans, and preferably carbon and energy reporting.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience engaging a range of stakeholders.
