Trainee Traffic Installation Technician Gloucestershire, United Kingdom (On-site)

Telent is looking for a Trainee Traffic Installation Technician to join our Traffic Signals / Traffic Lighting team in Gloucestershire. This is a field-based role, requiring a full UK driving license and willingness to travel and work in all weather conditions.

If you have electrical installation knowledge or experience, or are eager to start a career in this field, and hold an Electrical Engineering diploma or similar, we encourage you to apply.

As part of our team, you'll work closely with experienced engineers to install, maintain, and test traffic signals and lighting units, with training that includes on-the-job, desk-based, and online learning, leading to NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Highways Electrical Installations and sector certifications.

Ideal candidates are those with an interest in field engineering, some exposure to electrical work, or those eager to learn. Key requirements include motivation, problem-solving skills, a full UK driving license, good communication skills, computer literacy, and the ability to pass a Drugs & Alcohol test.
