Trainee Traffic Installation Technician Gloucestershire, United Kingdom (On-site)

Telent is looking for a Trainee Traffic Installation Technician to join our Traffic Signals / Traffic Lighting team in Gloucestershire. Due to growth, we are expanding our team in this region. This is a field-based role; the successful candidate must hold a full UK driving license and be willing to travel across the region and work in all weather conditions.

Are you interested in developing hands-on experience in the field? Do you have Electrical Installations knowledge or experience? Do you hold an Electrical Engineering diploma or certificate and want to start a new career? Are you seeking an accredited training program to enhance your skills?

At Telent, you'll work with technical experts on impactful projects, helping to build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure 24/7.

Responsibilities:

Working closely with experienced Traffic Engineers to install, maintain, and test Traffic Signals and Electrical components in Gloucestershire. Training includes classroom, on-the-job, online learning, leading to NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Highways Electrical Installations, and certifications like ECS and NHSS Chapter 8.

Candidate Profile:

Interested in field-based engineering, with some exposure to electrical installations. No experience? Keen to start a new career? We encourage all to apply.

• Experience or qualification in electrical installations
• Problem-solving skills
• Full UK Driving License
• Good communication and computer skills
• Willing to undertake drug and alcohol testing
