Telent is seeking a Trainee Traffic Installation Technician to join our Traffic Signals / Traffic Lighting team in Gloucestershire. This is a field-based role requiring a full UK driving license and willingness to travel and work in all weather conditions.
Ideal candidates will have some electrical installation knowledge or experience, or hold an Electrical Engineering diploma/certificate, and are eager to start a career in this field. We offer a structured training program leading to NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Highways Electrical Installations, along with sector-specific certifications like ECS and NHSS Chapter 8.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with experienced Traffic Engineers to install, maintain, and test traffic signals and electrical components.
- Participating in on-the-job training and online learning to achieve relevant qualifications.
