Trainee Traffic Installation Technician Gloucestershire, United Kingdom (On-site)

Telent is looking for a Trainee Traffic Installation Technician to join our Traffic Signals / Traffic Lighting team in Gloucestershire. This is a field-based role requiring a full UK driving license and willingness to travel and work in all weather conditions.

If you have some electrical installation knowledge or experience, or are eager to start a career in this field, and hold an Electrical Engineering diploma or similar, this opportunity offers structured training including NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Highways Electrical Installations, and certifications like ECS and NHSS Chapter 8.

As a trainee, you'll work closely with experienced engineers to install, maintain, and test traffic signals and electrical components across Gloucestershire. Training combines on-the-job, desk-based, and online learning.

Key requirements include motivation to learn, electrical experience or education, problem-solving skills, a full UK driving license, good communication skills, computer literacy, and willingness to undertake drug and alcohol testing.
