Telent is seeking a Trainee Traffic Installation Technician to join our Traffic Signals / Traffic Lighting team in Gloucestershire. This is a field-based role requiring a full UK driving license and willingness to travel across the region and work in all weather conditions.
This role offers an opportunity to develop hands-on experience, especially if you have electrical installation knowledge or a relevant diploma/certificate. We provide structured training, including NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Highways Electrical Installations, and certifications like ECS and NHSS Chapter 8.
You should have an interest in field-based engineering, with some exposure to electrical installations, or be eager to start a new career in this field.
- Motivated and eager to learn through on-the-job and online training
- Experience or qualification in electrical installations
- Problem-solving skills and ability to follow fault-finding instructions
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Good communication skills and computer literacy
- Willing to undertake a Drugs & Alcohol test
