Job Description:

Trainee Traffic Installation Technician

Telent is seeking a Trainee Traffic Installation Technician to join our Traffic Signals / Traffic Lighting team in Gloucestershire. This is a field-based role requiring a full UK driving license and willingness to travel across the region in all weather conditions.

This role offers an opportunity to develop practical experience in electrical installations, with structured training leading to NVQ Level 2 in Highways Electrical Installations (LANTRA), then Level 3, and sector certifications such as ECS and NHSS Chapter 8.

Ideal candidates are interested in field engineering, have some exposure to electrical work, or are eager to start a new career in this area. Key requirements include motivation to learn, experience or education in electrical installations, a full UK driving license, good communication skills, and computer literacy.
