Job summary

Beaumont Hill Academy is seeking a Level 1 Teaching Assistant to support teaching staff in developing and delivering lesson provision, both for whole class and individuals. You will prepare resources and assist with pastoral support, helping ensure all students’ learning needs are met.

The role involves assisting with planning, preparing and delivering lessons, evaluating progress and providing feedback to teachers. Temporary positions available with interviews on 11 August 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience of assisting with planning, preparation and delivery of lesson provision to support learning outcomes.
• Good written and verbal communication skills with teaching staff.
• Ability to be empathetic and understanding to the needs of students.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, preparation and delivery of lesson provision, both whole-class and individual, and prepare resources to support learning activities.
• Contribute to evaluating student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher to ensure learning needs are met.
• Support learners pastorally and help create a supportive learning environment.
