Job summary

Manpower is seeking a motivated Junior QC Analyst for an established pharmaceutical manufacturing team. This entry-level role suits recent graduates or those starting a career in Quality Control, supporting testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

You will prepare reagents, assist with instrument maintenance, document results, and help ensure GMP/GDP standards.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Science or related field
• Placement year or internship in a lab or pharma environment
• Familiarity with GMP or regulated industries

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products following established methods and SOPs.
• Accurately record and report test results in compliance with GMP and GDP.
• Prepare laboratory reagents, standards, and solutions.
• Assist in the maintenance, calibration, and cleaning of laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Support investigations into out-of-specification (OOS) results under supervision.
• Ensure all work is completed within required timelines to support production.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant laboratory environment.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Assist with documentation updates and general QC administrative tasks.
