Our client based in Bournemouth is seeking a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join the busy finance team. You will handle supplier invoices, reconcile statements and highlight discrepancies within the company timescales.

This entry-level role offers full training, a 37.5 hour week (Mon-Fri 08:30-17:00) with occasional Saturdays, and a starting rate of £12.82 per hour (£25k per year equivalent), rising to £26,250 per year after going permanent.

Qualifications

• Role involves processing supplier invoices and reconciling statements.
• Basic training will be provided for accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and check against the service records.
• Complete Purchase Orders/Extras in FileMaker for invoicing.
• Post supplier invoices in Sage and ensure correct postings.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Print supplier invoices received by email.
• Assist customer service to maintain service levels.
