Salary banding: £23,493 - £34,000

Vacancy: Entry-level Product Lifecycle Professional

Within the electrical Power systems industry, focusing on power system protection equipment.

Location: Hebburn office, with 1 day remote work per week and occasional global travel.

The Role:

  • Implement market segmentation, including competitor and price analysis.
  • Analyze and address product gaps based on market needs.
  • Monitor product performance throughout its lifecycle.
  • Support investigation of customer support requests, defects, and production issues.
  • Define product marketing and communication strategies.
  • Drive product performance across its lifecycle in collaboration with partners.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of product lifecycle management.
  • Coordinate component availability between factories and R&D.
  • Define product phase-out strategies.
  • Manage target costing, pricing, profitability, and quantity planning.
  • Support go-to-market activities.
  • Communicate via webinars, videos, sales media, and customer meetings globally.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Engineering or Science qualification (Level 3, degree, HNC, etc.).
  • If not degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering, willing to work towards it.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Interest in power systems and protection/control equipment.
  • Willingness to travel globally, sometimes at short notice.
