Dental Practice Manager (Entry-Level, Self-Employed)

Location: R-Dental, Burnt Oak Broadway, Edgware

Pay: £20 per hour (self-employed basis)

Hours: 30/week

Start Date: 14th July

About the Role

We are seeking an organised, proactive, and friendly Dental Practice Manager to join our team on a self-employed basis. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with strong administrative or customer service backgrounds who are ready to step into a leadership role within the healthcare sector.

As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the daily coordination and smooth operation of the practice, ensuring a high standard of patient care and administrative efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the dental practice to ensure smooth and efficient workflows

Manage specialist and dentist rotas/diaries, appointment scheduling, patient records, and reception duties

Ensure compliance documentation is maintained, and all patient records are kept up to date

Deliver excellent customer service and address any patient complaints in a professional and timely manner

Patient treatment coordination

Coordinate staff rotas and ensure appropriate staffing levels

Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels of clinical and administrative supplies

Provide day-to-day administrative support and ensure effective running of the service

Manage cashflow and staff salaries

What We’re Looking For

Strong administrative or customer service experience (dental setting desirable but not essential)

Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively

Strong communication and leadership abilities, with a team-first approach

Proficient in Microsoft Office and practice management software (training provided if needed)

A positive attitude with a solutions-focused mindset and willingness to learn
