Job summary

Randstad Construction & Property in Loughborough is seeking a Manufacturing Technician I for a fully onsite 12-month contract. The role starts with packing chemical containers as you complete training, with progression to filling chemicals and operating machinery as you gain experience.

You will work 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 08:00-16:00, with a structured training plan to progress to Manufacturing Technician II. We value practical, team-oriented individuals and safety-conscious behavior.

Qualifications

• No degrees required; full training provided.
• Physically fit for manual handling.
• Ability to read instructions and follow daily schedules.

Responsibilities

• Pack chemical products into containers and outer packaging according to schedules.
• Operate manual and automatic packaging equipment including filling and labeling.
• Perform quality checks using weighing equipment and verify batch numbers.
• Prepare warehouse by palletising and wrapping finished goods.
• Follow COSHH, waste handling and safety rules with provided PPE.
