Job summary

Russell Taylor Group is seeking an entry level Laboratory Technician for a temporary, 12-week contract at their site in Flintshire (Shotton area). The role involves routine laboratory tasks, manual handling, sample sorting and accurate record-keeping within quality systems.

The ideal candidate has an interest in science, is well organised, a team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail, capable of working both independently and to deadlines.

• Carry out housekeeping and lab cleanliness duties.

Role Laboratory Technician

Location Flintshire

Hours Monday-Friday (normal working hours)

Start Date ASAP

Responsibilities

• Routine Laboratory tasks- can be physically demanding, on your feet and operating heavy equipment
• Perform manual handling duties
• Sample crate sorting and retrieval from storage areas to sample prep workstations.
• Maintaining accurate records in accordance with internal and external quality systems
• Housekeeping duties
