Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd t/a Russell Taylor Group in Flintshire is seeking a Laboratory Technician for a temporary 12-week assignment with potential to become permanent. The role involves routine laboratory tasks, heavy equipment operation, and manual handling, with a standard Monday-to-Friday schedule and ASAP start.

Successful candidates will have an interest in science, be highly organised, a good team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Routine laboratory tasks, to include work with heavy equipment.
• Perform manual handling duties as required.
• Sample crate sorting and retrieval from storage to prep stations.
• Maintain accurate records in line with quality systems.
• Housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and compliant lab environment.

Job description

Role: -Laboratory Technician

Type: -Temporary- 12 weeks initially with potential to go permanent

Pay:-£13.45 per hour

Location: -Flintshire

Hours: - Monday-Friday (normal working hours)

Start Date:-ASAP

Responsibilities

• Routine Laboratory tasks- can be physically demanding, on your feet and operating heavy equipment
• Perform manual handling duties
• Sample crate sorting and retrieval from storage areas to sample prep workstations.
• Maintaining accurate records in accordance with internal and external quality systems
• Housekeeping duties
