Mauve Group in Stroud is seeking an Entry Level Finance Assistant to join their small and growing finance team (plus the office dog!). This is a full-time, permanent role with a friendly point of contact for queries and processing.

This is an entry level position, therefore no previous work experience is required, just a willingness to learn. Benefits include support with accounts qualifications, free parking, and flexibility on hours.

Qualifications

• Entry level position, no previous work experience required.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a finance role.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the finance/accounts email inbox.
• Use document scanning system for import/coding/authorisation/export to system.
• Prepare payment runs – weekly and monthly.
• Perform payment allocations and daily bank journals.
• Carry out monthly bank reconciliations.
• Load payments onto various banks and issue remittances.
• Handle supplier statements and respond to queries.
• Post and reconcile expenses claims.
• Provide general administration support.
