Job summary

Yunex Traffic is seeking an Electrical Installation Technician (Entry Level) to join our Berkshire team. This hands-on role focuses on the installation and commissioning of traffic signals, controllers, and crossings, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

You will work across diverse sites, learn on the job, and benefit from ongoing training. A UK driving licence is required, and a company van and tools are provided to support your development and success.

Qualifications

• Ideally an electrical qualification or relevant experience; training provided for those without.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing traffic signals, controllers, pedestrian crossings and ancillary equipment.
• Manage and troubleshoot tasks across multiple sites daily.
• Conduct electrical tests and pre- commissioning checks.
• Maintain clear communication with customers and fellow contractors on site.
• Ensure all work meets specifications, standards and deadlines.
• Participate in mandatory product and industry accreditation training.
• Flexibility for out-of-hours work to meet service and contract demands.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols, prioritising hazard identification and mitigation.
