Job summary

Nuclear Restoration Services (NRS) at Dounreay is seeking a Craft Assistant to support our Scaffolding Team in the safe decommissioning programme. You will work alongside experienced supervisors and tradespeople to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The role offers training and development, with a clear pathway into the scaffolding trade. A full UK driving licence and a proactive attitude are essential for progressing in this hands-on role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate job reports and complete workshop tasks.
• Support maintenance and scaffolding activities across the site.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, cleanliness and waste management.
• Assist supervisors and tradespeople in safe execution of duties.
