Zizzi Restaurants here in Hereford is seeking an enthusiastic Trainee Chef to learn the craft in our open kitchen. You don’t need any previous chef experience—we’ll teach you how to stretch dough and cook perfect pasta with a great attitude and a love for Italian food.

Learn in a busy environment while you develop towards Chef, then Head Chef roles, with flexible hours and a minimum-hour contract. Free meals on shift and staff discounts are available as part of the benefits.

Qualifications

• Entry-level chef role; no kitchen experience required.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn are a must.
• Love for Italian ingredients and a desire to master the Zizzi menu.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook our menu to spec in a busy, high-energy open kitchen.
• Take pride in the quality of every dish that leaves your section.
• Master our menu and specs to keep service fast and consistent.
• Maintain a spotless kitchen and follow food safety procedures.
• Work closely with the team to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
