Entry-Level Business Development Consultant – Based in Cannock

Location: Cannock (Centrix House, WS12 2HA) – covering the surrounding Midlands area

Type: Office-based with flexibility for home working; regular travel within the region (car allowance or company car scheme provided)

Overview

We’re a growing logistics recruitment agency looking for an ambitious and people-driven Entry-Level Business Development Consultant to join our team in Cannock. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career or with some experience in sales, recruitment, or customer service who wants to develop their skills in a supportive, high-performance environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Helping identify and win new client opportunities in the logistics and transport sector
  • Visiting clients locally for meetings and site drop-ins (full training provided)
  • Making outbound calls, using our CRM system to follow up on leads and build connections
  • Learning how to grow and manage client accounts through great service and communication
  • Supporting regional growth with occasional visits to our Rugby and Peterborough locations
  • Keeping accurate records in the CRM and supporting the sales pipeline
  • Representing our brand in a confident and professional manner both in person and online

Who We’re Looking For

  • Ideally some experience in recruitment, sales, or customer-facing roles – but not essential
  • Friendly and confident communicator, comfortable speaking with clients
  • Eager to learn and develop new skills in business development
  • Organised, reliable, and motivated by targets
  • Must have a full UK driving licence and be comfortable with travel
  • Based within a reasonable commute to Cannock (WS12 2HA)

What We Offer

  • Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 basic (depending on experience)
  • Commission: Uncapped – with realistic OTE up to £5,000/month
  • Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with some flexibility
  • Travel Package: Company car scheme or car allowance
  • Work Setup: Office-based with some home working flexibility
  • Support: Full onboarding, training, and ongoing mentorship from experienced leaders
