Job summary

Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring a Junior Accounts Receivable Assistant to work in Long Crendon. This entry-level role requires enthusiasm, meticulous attention to detail and is fully office-based with normal hours, Monday to Friday.

You will support the Accounts team by raising invoices, allocating receipts, assisting with credit control and keeping customer accounts accurate. Full training provided; opportunity to study towards an AAT qualification to advance knowledge.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; full training provided.
• Keen to build a career in accounts receivable and credit control.
• Excellent attention to detail and professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate and process customer invoices.
• Import daily sales invoices and ensure invoices are accurate and complete.
• Liaise with account managers and clients to obtain purchase orders and approvals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and queries.
• Allocate daily cash receipts and assist with account reconciliations.
• Support month-end processes and wider finance reporting.
• Work with operational teams to improve invoicing accuracy.
